Heads up, PS4 gamers! "The Last of Us" has recently released a preview of its part two at the PlayStation Experience 2016.
After the success of "The Last of Us" (released in 2013) and "The Last of Us Re-mastered" (released in 2014), Naughty Dog Studio and Sony Computer Entertainment have finally revealed that the characters Joel and Ellie are about to continue their thrilling quest to kill the remaining hostile infected humans.
The end of "The Last of Us" part one gave a bit of a teaser when Joel asked Ellie if she is up for more, and Ellie fiercely agreed to say she will "kill each and every last one of them." Apparently, the plot twist will revolve around Ellie's thirst for revenge.
While "The Last of Us" keeps on getting critical acclaims and five-star reviews, more and more fans fall in love with its perfect balance of suspense and drama. The past couple of years spent waiting have put the gamers in frenzy.
Of course with this big reveal come a number of different theories to the next storyline. One "leak" from Forbes.com predicts that Joel's death will drive Ellie to seek for retribution. Anything could be possible, though, because the story was left open-ended. And although this theory might turn out true, there is no certainty as it is way too early and Naughty Dog Studios still has everything on the works.
What we only know for sure is that this horror adventure is set to contain more action as the multiplayer features will be enhanced more for the gamers' satisfaction. It will be even greater than that of the remastered version. Part 2 is expected to be released someti//me in 2018.
Rumors and plot theories aside, this game surely is nowhere near its end. It is definitely not the last for "The Last of Us"!
