According to Samuel L. Jackson, Elizabeth Olsen is Avenger’s Newest Cast Member

Elizabeth Olsen, also known as the younger, non-twin sibling of twin siblings turned fashion designers Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen has been busy making a name for herself. The 24 year old actress has starred in Martha Marcy May Marlene and Liberal Arts. The young actress has just signed on for her biggest role to date. She is set to play Wanda Maximoff, the alter ego of Scarlet Witch in the next installment of Avengers, while will be titled Age of Ultron.
Co-star Samuel L. Jackson spilled the news about Olsen in a recent interview with the Wall Street Journal. For now, neither Disney or Marvel has confirmed anything just yet. Jackson also added that another actor, James Spader, will be joining the cast and will play the bad guy. Jackson, during his interview, also added that for now, he wasn't clear whether Olsen's role would be "on the inside or outside". However, a source close to the production team did say that it was "only a matter of formality" until the deal was done.
Elizabeth Olsen, who is known as "Lizzie" got her acting start in the movie Peace, Love and Misunderstanding, where she played the character Zoe. Olsen also appeared in Very Good Girls, where she played opposite Dakota Fanning.
So far, there has been no official shooting date that has been announced for the newest installment of The Avengers. However, in his interview, actor Samuel L. Jackson did say that people were looking to start shooting in the summer of 2014 and they were looking at London for the location of the shoot. Before you get too excited though, the newest installment of the Avengers- Age of Ultron may not be hitting the big screens until the summer of 2015.
