Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo are officially married; the couple exchanged their "I do's" in a lovely and nothing short of grand wedding ceremony in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico on July 19. But in case you missed, here are some interesting bits on the events that led Adam Levine and his Namibian beauty girlfriend Behati Prinsloo to tie the knot.
Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo started dating in 2012. While that was the second relationship of Prinsloo, it was obviously not the first, second nor third or even seventh for Levine, who is well known for wooing models (with more often than not hard to pronounce names).
Behati Prinsloo reportedly dated Jamie Strachan from 2005 to 2011 before officially embarking into a romantic relationship with Levine.
Levine and Prinsloo's romance ignited after the former's break-up with longtime Sports Illustrated model girlfriend Anne Vyalitsana.
The Maroon 5 frontman and the ravishing Anne V remarkably did a nude photo shoot at the height of their quite public relationship. However, it seemed that the nude photo session didn't help to save their relationship at all.
Moving on from that break up, Adam dated Prinsloo, but split for a couple of times when the "Moves Like Jagger" singer found new love interests in Prinsloo's fellow models.
During his first break-up with Prinsloo, Levine dated model-actress Amanda Setton for about two months starting March 2013. When they split, Levine allegedly rekindled his romance with Prinsloo, but ended it for the second time when he opted for a much younger model, Nina Agdal, in May 2013.
Sources said back then that Levine was enjoying the fresh relationship he shared with Agdal for the most part. The 21-year-old Sports Illustrated and Victoria's Secret Angel was even spotted showing her support to Levine on the set of "The Voice" on several instances.
However, barely making it to the 2-months max period, Levine and Agdal split, with the former finding his way back to Prinsloo's arms. Levine reportedly ended his relationship with Agdal through a text message that time.
As though he reached an epiphany, Levine quickly popped the question to Prinsloo during the weekend of July 12-14, 2014.
A year later, Adam Levine and Behati Prinsloo officially sealed the marriage deal with an intimate wedding.
A month prior to their wedding, Levine reportedly apologized to all of his former girlfriends for not treating them well.
Additionally, the "She Will Be Loved" hit maker dished that he used to cheat with his girlfriends, and even related this interesting bit about himself to his character in "Begin Again."
"This [character] was me like seven years ago," the 35-year-old singer told Gotham magazine of his cheating nature in the past. "We all get a little lost sometimes. I would be lying if I said that I didn't get lost when I was a little bit younger, trying to figure things out."
Now speaking of her and Levine's break-ups in the past, Prinsloo reassured everyone that she knows Adam is serious with her this time around.
"I think he figured that one out. He needed time to realize that," Prinsloo said. "But he's awesome and we're very happy and we just get each other and I think we realized that after a while."
Aside from the models mentioned above, Adam Levine has dated many more women in the past including: Lindsay Lohan, Jane Herman, Jessica Simpson, Maria Sharapova, Becky Ginos, Janine Habeck, Angela Bellotte, Arielle Vandenberg, and Cameron Diaz, among others, according to WhosDatedWho.com.
