Nike will make a lot of noise this weekend with the release of three excellent signature sneakers that are expected to get a lot of attention on the sneaker market.
First up is the newest edition of Kevin Durant's signature shoe - the KD 7 - that is set to come out in what is dubbed as the "Calm Before The Storm" edition, which is officially listed as the Grey/Hyper Punch-Light Magnet Grey colorway of the shoe.
This edition features a grey-based upper part combined with punch hints on the laces, tongue lining and outsole along with the Nike Swoosh and KD logos.
"The grey and pink color way of this KD7 is indicative of skies that appear tranquil before the onset of a powerful storm, though Durant typically remains calm even throughout a swirling frenzy on-court," the shoe as described by Nike on their release statement.
The Nike KD 7 "Calm Before The Storm" will be released on Saturday, August 16, in select Nike accounts worldwide. It will be available in full family sizing -- $150 for men's sizes, $115 for gradeschool sizes, $75 for preschool sizes, and $55 for toddler sizes.
Aside from Durant's latest signature shoes, the latest colorway of Kobe Bryant's signature shoe will also arrive at retailers on Saturday - the Kobe 9 Elite Low "Beethoven", which is listed as the White/Black-Wolf Grey colorway of the signature shoe.
This edition features a white-based upper part with wolf grey and black hints as inspired by the famous German composer and pianist, Beethoven, who is known for his Ninth Symphony.
"The Kobe 9 Elite Low Beethoven pays tribute to the German composer and pianist, and more specifically the power of his Ninth Symphony from the early 1800s. The grey color of this colorway represents Beethoven's timeless quality," the shoe as described by Nike.
The newest Kobe 9 Elite Low will sell at $200 per pair in select Nike stores worldwide.
The LeBron 11 Low is also expected to make waves again as it is scheduled to hit shelves in "Lava" edition, which is also listed as the Light Magnet Grey/Bright Mango-Magnet Grey colorway. This edition of LeBron James' 11th signature shoe will sell at $170 per pair worldwide.
