NBA 2K15 for PC will be in line with the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions starting this year, and the system requirements for the upcoming video game was released on Wednesday.
"The time has come for PC to go next-gen. PC from here on out is going to be just in line with our PS4 and Xbox One announcements. Every feature, every mode will be the same for PC and Xbox One and PS4," 2K insider Ronnie2K revealed last week.
Steam and 2K Sports released the minimum and recommended system requirements to run the highly anticipated game on their official website. Below are the system requirements as revealed by Steam.
Minimum System Requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit or higher
- Processor: Intel Core2 Duo or better
- Memory: 2 or more GB RAM
- Graphics: DirectX 10.1 compatible (512 MB) or better
- DirectX: Version 11
- Hard Drive: 50 or more GB available space
- Sound Card: 9.0c compatible
- Additional Notes: Keyboard or dual-analog gamepad
Recommended System Requirements:
- Operating System: Windows 7 64 bit or higher
- Processor: Intel Core i7 or better
- Memory: 4 or more GB RAM
- Graphics: DirectX 11.0 compatible (2 GB) or better
- DirectX: Version 11
- Hard Drive: 50 or more GB available space
- Sound Card: DirectX 9.0c compatible
- Additional Notes: Dual-analog gamepad
Aside from the much-improved graphics, the newest iteration of the highly successful series will feature more EuroLeague teams next season after getting positive response this year with NBA 2K14.
"The global response to the integration of EuroLeague teams into the NBA 2K series last year was fantastic, and a key factor in our decision to include the full complement of 2013-14 EuroLeague teams in NBA 2K15," Visual Concepts President Greg Thomas said. "We know there's a huge passion for basketball in Europe, and we're excited to further expand the number of playable European teams to make this the most comprehensive basketball game ever."
The new features are expected to make NBA 2K15 a huge hit once it is released on the market on October 7. Gamers can now pre-order a copy via Steam to get a Bonus Pack, which includes 5,000 virtual currency, Kevin Durant Throwback MyTEAM Card, Two MyTEAM Card Packs, and KD-inspired MyPLAYER leg sleeves.
