So, is Bobbi Kristina Brown really awake? That's the shocking revelation of her father, Bobby Brown. According to TMZ, Bobby stunned his audience during a Frankie Beverly concert at the Verizon Theatre in Grand Prairie, Texas when he announced that Krissy was out of coma.
"Bobbi is awake," 46-year-old Bobby Brown told the concert crowd Saturday night. "She's watching me."
It is still unclear what Bobby Brown is really trying to say so Access Hollywood asked Bobby's attorney for any clarification about his announcement that Bobbi Kristina Brown's current medical state. But no further comments were given.
"I am aware of Bobby's statement," Bobby Brown's attorney, Chris Brown said. "No additional comment will be made at this time."
As per AL.com, Bobby Brown performed at the Soul Food Festival in L.A. on April 11 when he told the crowd he appreciated the support he had gotten from fans since Bobbi Kristina Brown's health crisis.
"I want to thank all of y'all for coming out tonight, for supporting me and my family," he said. "Rough times are rough times. Hard times are hard times. I don't know what the hell I'm going through right now, but I'm giving it to God."
Meanwhile, a source close to the family told People that Bobbi Kristina Brown has yet to wake up.
"As far as I know, there's been no change," the source said, Time quoted. "We're still hoping and praying that God will perform a miracle. We are leaving it in God's hands."
In the coming week, Bobby Brown will be forced to leave Bobbi Kristina Brown's bedside to fulfill several Australia tour dates, as previously reported. E! News noted that Bobby's latest vague comment came less than a month after his daughter was transferred from Emory University Hospital in Georgia to a nearby long-term care center, Dekalb Medical rehab facility.
Despite Bobby Brown's announcement, it still unconfirmed if Bobbi Kristina Brown is really out of coma.
Bobbi Kristina Brown, the 22-year-old daughter of Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown, was found face down and unresponsive in a bathtub in her home on Jan. 31. Although she was resuscitated by paramedics and taken to an area hospital, she has been in a medically induced coma and life support ever since.
