'iZombie' Cast Rose McIver Sings Country In Season 2 Episode 4, Here Is Why She Can Pull It Off [WATCH]


"iZombie" season 2 episode 4 will feature a different side of the show's main cast, Liv Moore. The question is can Rose McIver pull off the personality she's about to play?

Fans of "iZombie" are aware that the med-student-turned zombie Liv had to eat human brains to maintain her humanity. Every time she does, she inherits the corpse's memories.

In the upcoming episode entitled "Even Cowgirls Get the Black and Blues," Liv had to eat the brain of a country singer waitress to help in the investigation of the case. You already know what that means —fans will finally hear McIver sing.

Although it is not usually done in the show, singing is not new to the "iZombie" actress, Fashion & Style learned. She even admitted that she loves singing herself.

"I've kind of always sung bits and pieces and like a few chunks of of bands' or people's music or whatever, but I haven't done it seriously or with any diligence," she revealed during an interview with ComicBook.com.

McIver also said that blending singing with her character was unusual for her. Singing may not be new to her, but singing in character surely is.

Every episode, she gets the opportunity to play different types of personality, and it only proves that she is a versatile actress.

Rob Thomas, one of the executive producers of "iZombie," said that the 27-year-old actress was great before teasing the subplot of the episode, where they get to have this weird little trio of Blaine DeBeers, Chief and Don E. Thomas also revealed that the actor Bryce Hodgson, who will be playing Don E., is the same actor who played Scott E. in season one.

Apparently, the "iZombie" producers and writers like Hodgson that they created a twin brother character, so he could come back to the series.

In season two, episode four, Clive Babineaux, played by Malcom Goodwin, will be meeting a female FBi agent, according to TVGuide. The synopsis further stated that Blaine, played by David Anders, will lure business associate back to the dark side.

The downward spiral of Robert Buckley's Major Lilywhite continues. Meanwhile, Liv's best friend Peyton Charles, played by Aly Michalka, will mess up Dr. Ravi Chakrabarti's game.
