'Supergirl' Season 1 Episode 2 SPOILER: Kara Gets Her Confidence & Kryptonian Powers Tested

The new "Supergirl" season 1, episode 2 trailer has been released, and it features Kara Danvers being tested — wait, what?

There were a few things revealed during the pilot episode of DC's "Supergirl." Other than her powers, Alex's true nature work and the real reason why she wanted her sister to keep her identity were also uncovered.

David Harewood's Hank Henshaw, Alex's direct superior, didn't want Kara to meddle with the ongoing operation, which is finding the prisoners of Fort Rozz, a Kryptonian prison. One of it was Vartox. To fight him, Henshaw had to take risks, and trust the "Supergirl."

Kara admitted that she was the reason why this happened, and she made it clear with the director that she wanted to help fix the problem. Apparently, it seems that her proposal is now being considered.

The new spolier footage of the sophomore episode of "Supergirl" season 1 shows Kara's powers being tested.

She asked him if the test was mandatory for everyone, and he told her that physical and psychological evaluations were required for all field operatives.

Being a superhero doesn't mean that he or she is always an asset in the field. That is why Henshaw performed the test to check if Kara has her powers fully in control, and that includes her stamina, speed and strength, the Comic Book.com reported.

Here comes the amazing part in that "Supergirl" season one clip — Kara increased her speed. During the test, she flew so fast that she broke the sound barriers.

Not only she's strong, she also displayed wit. Henshaw instructed his men to fire off the missiles, and instead of facing them heads-on, she opted to manuever herself so that the missiles collide with each other.

During the second episode of "Supergirl" season one, Kara will also show some hesitations at first, as per TVGuide spoilers. This happens to most of the superheroes so nobody blames her.

The spoiler reported added that the impending threat to National City will force her to set her doubts aside, so she can capture a Fort Rozz fugitive.

Meanwhile, it has been established in "Supergirl" season 1's pilot episode that Kara's cousin, Superman, and James Olsen, played by Mehcad Brooks, are somehow friends. Calista Flockhart's Cat Grant, who happens to be Kara's boss, is pressuring James to use his connection to the Man of Steele to get her an interview with his cousin.

"Supergirl" is going back to its original time slot. Watch the "Stronger Together" episode tonight, at 8 p.m., on CBS.
