In an odd development, the multi-award nominee and Grammy Award winner Ed Sheeran has decided to launch his first song from his much-awaited and highly anticipated third album through Sacha Baron Cohen's latest film entitled "Grimsby." The new song that fans can definitely hear exclusively in the movie is the track titled "Brother's Blood."
Unfortunately, the track will not be available on streaming or appear in the soundtrack list. The song is quite exclusive that it's a tease for Ed Sheeran fans to watch "Grimsby."
Ed Sheeran news have indicated that the new song "Brother's Blood" was a move to boost ticket sales, and the only way for fans to hear the crooner's voice is only when Sacha Cohen plays the song while promoting the movie or maybe play it during the film itself. The film is a comedy movie where Cohen plays a character named Nobby.
Grimsby is a British spy action comedy film written by Sacha Baron Cohen. The film revolves around a dim Nobby where he teams up with his British Black Ops spy of a brother, played by Mark Strong. The actual title of the film is "The Brothers Grimsby" which might be fitting for Ed Sheeran's new single that is somewhat similarly titled.
It may be a wonder why Sheeran has decided to pair up woth Cohen, but the two have been friends for the past few years, a source explained. The two met through their mutual friend Courteney Cox where at the time, Cohen had no idea who Sheeran was. Cohen described Sheeran as a good lad and even poked fun at the artist being a red-head.
Ed Sheeran news also reported that the singer's untitled album is most likely to hit the stores later this year. For now, Sheeran fans can only get their crooning fix by watching "Grimsby."
