The makers of "Sausage Party" have decided to bring animation, adventure, comedy and horror in one movie. To tease the viewers, the official movie trailer of Seth Rogen and James Franco's newest brain child has finally been released. According to Movie Pilot, it is a must-see for adults only.
The movie is practically a spoof of Disney and Pixar films, but unlike them, "Sausage Party" is an R-Rated movie. The publication described it as something like the movie "Toy Story." It has inanimate objects (like sausages and vegetables) running for their lives to escape hungry human mouths. One sausage will lead the supermarket community on a quest to discover the truth about their existence and will force them to break out of their manufacture's packaging.
As for the horror part of the film, there is a gory "Saving Private Ryan" scene where spaghetti guts are spilling all over the place. But more than its rumored plot, fans are looking forward to see how Edward Norton, Seth Rogen, Bill Hader, Michael Cera, Danny McBride, Craig Robinson, Paul Rudd, Nick Kroll, Salma Hayek, David Krumholtz, Jonah Hill, Kristen Wiig and James Franco will fair as they lend their voices to the film's characters.
"Sausage Party" has already been premiered in the SXSW Film Festival, but won't be available to the rest of the world until Aug. 12, 2016.
