Remember Matt Ryan who made his supernatural career in the "Constantine" series? He might just get a second chance to play the title role in "Constantine" season 2.
Last year, the DC superhero TV series aired its last episode. Since February 2015, NBC has not picked up the show for a second run. Now, after a year of waiting, the series may get another chance for a second installment.
"Constantine" was based on the original DC Comics character, John Constantine, who hunts supernatural beings. He made his appearance on "Arrow" when he helped Oliver Queen on the island. His second appearance was on the same show, different episode. That was when Oliver asked him for some mystical assistance regarding a somewhat dead friend.
The CW Seed is currently rerunning the first season of "Constantine." According to reports, several speculations are buzzing on the net that this indicates a possible second season. NBC has previously cancelled the series because of its poor performance. Did Matt Ryan not do the role enough justice? There are still those who follow the show.
But if a second run is not possible, there are speculations that Constantine may show up in "Legends of Tomorrow" season 2 which airs on The CW network. Though NBC was not willing to air it on the network, Warner Bros. did try to offer the show to other networks. However, negotiations failed because several of the cast members were already released from their contracts.
There is no official confirmation regarding "Constantine" season 2 but fans can enjoy the rerun on the CW seed website.
As of the moment, the CW network has not confirmed anything regarding the revival of "Constantine" under its roof; however, the 13 episodes of the series' first season can be seen on the CW Seed website for free.
