Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift may have already broken up but pieces of their relationship are still floating around. That is exactly what happened in this case.
Taylor Swift and Calvin Harris secretly made music together during their relationship. Now that their relationship is over and both artists are moving on with their careers, some memories just would not go away.
The two co-wrote the song "This Is What You Came For." It was a hit single the Scottish DJ performed and it was released with Rihanna on it this April. Tay-tay fans can remember that they broke up in May.
But the drama unfolded when one of Swift's rep said that she wrote the song under the pseudonym Nils Sjoberg. Currently, the music performing rights databases show "This Is What You Came" for was co-written by both "Nils Sjoberg" and Harris, who used his real name-Adam Wiles. According to reports, Harris is hurt over this recent development. However, he did confirm that she sang a little on the song. He even praised her at being an amazing lyric writer. " I wrote the music, produced the song, arranged it and cut the vocals though," he explained.
He further added that Taylor wanted it to be a secret that is why there was a pseudonym. But he pointed out that it was a low blow that her and her team would make him look bad. At the time the single was released, Harris told Ryan Seacrest that a collaboration with the pop star may not happen.
Swift was hurt but a source says that "Adam and Swift did get in an argument about this but Adam was very hesitant in working with Swift on music because his past experience with his other girlfriend."
The Calvin Harris and Taylor Swift drama still continues even after their break up. However, Swift has not responded to the DJ's rant just yet. For Harris, he just wants to move on with his life and work on his music career.
