It has been years since the last movie and fans are itching to find out when "Kill Bill 3" will start production. Director Quentin Tarantino has always said that he only wants to make 10 films in total in his whole career as a director.
His latest film, 2015's "The Hateful Eight," has brought the total to eight (if you count both Kill Bill movies as one masterpiece). Which means he only has two movies left on his sights. Does that include "Kill Bill 3"?
Quentin Tarantino explains his career and retirement plans. According to reports, he is pursuing that number regardless. "Even if at 75, if I have this other story to tell, it would still kind of work because that would make those 10," says Tarantino.
Tarantino's films are always in his own style and if he decides to make a movie past the age of retirement, then he just might do it.
The plans for a third installment exists only in concept. He has been very noncommittal about it. So that means it is both a yes and a no. At one point he thought about what Sofie Fatale would be doing thirteen years later. He mentioned he has also spoken with Uma Thurman about some things he never did with the previous movies.
The original plans for the sequel was supposed to focus on the revenge play against The Bride by Vernita Green's daughter. But Tarantino's talk about changing it is still a blur.
The famous director may just be enjoying his vacation and taking his time right now. And although he is already looking forward to retirement, fans are still anxious to see the last two films on his film list and they all hope that it will involve "Kill Bill 3."
