Recent Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton news claimed that "The Voice" judge's ex-wife, Miranda Lambert, may have released a song for her former love. Is the country singer truly pulling a Taylor Swift?
According to Us Weekly, Miranda Lambert just released her first single after she got divorced from "The Voice" judge Blake Shelton. The song was revealed on Monday, Jul. 18.
The mellow country song talks about heartbreak, leading to speculations that the singer may have written it for her ex-husband. The tune is written by Lambert, Josh Osbourne and Shane McAnally.
"Vice" is the singer's first musical release since she published her fifth studio album last 2014 entitled "Platinum." Lambert has not commented on the background of the emotional single.
"If you need me, I'll be where my reputation don't precede me," Lambert sang. "Maybe I'm addicted to goodbyes."
HOF Mag reported that Miranda Lambert's song talked about the numbness and loneliness of someone who wants an escape from her past. Listeners can actually feel the singer's emotions in the slow tune.
The publication noted that there are speculations that Lambert may still have feelings for her ex-husband, Blake Shelton, who is now with Gwen Stefani. The country singer is currently with Anderson East.
Meanwhile, the latest Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton news revealed how the No Doubt vocalist reacted when her co-judge at "The Voice" told the team about his divorce.
Us Weekly reported that the 46-year-old pop star admitted that she "went white" and "shook" since she was shocked about Shelton's announcement. Apparently, Stefani was also going through the same difficult time with her marriage to Gavin Rossdale but only a few people knew about it.
"He basically told me what was going on with him," she told Howard Stern on his show. "We just started this friendship. I wasn't trying to start a relationship. I was just trying to not die. There was no plan. It was an incredible gift to be able to have a friend."
