The 47-year-old American actress Jennifer Aniston seems to be aging gracefully and has never been busier for another holiday movie, "Office Christmas Party." But what else has been keeping the veteran actress busy?
As reported by USA Today, despite Aniston's continuous accomplishments and recent endeavors as an actress and a woman, she's occasionally been shamed for being "childless." Sometimes, even her divorce with estranged husband, actor Brad Pitt almost 11 years ago, is still linked to her.
In an effort to be portrayed differently by the media, former "F.R.I.E.N.D.S." lead wrote a column for the Huffington Post addressing common gossips about her pregnancy and marital status. "For the record, I am not pregnant. What I am is fed up. I'm fed up with the sport-like scrutiny and body shaming that occurs daily under the guise of "journalism," Aniston admitted.
She further narrates how "harassed" she and husband American actor-director Justin Theroux everyday by photographers or paparazzi staking near their house in Los Angeles. Aniston, who also recently starred in Storks, expressed her disappointment over tabloid's "objectification and scrutiny" to women-that focused mainly on physical appearance.
According to the actress, it wasn't the first time she's been body shamed, calling her names and labeling her as a "sad and childless human." But despite directly saying that each woman is "complete with or without a mate, with or without a child," the actress pointed out how thankful she is to be married to a loving husband. And to further elaborate on her column, Aniston disclosed with Marie Claire how she tries to navigate her own life amidst all struggles.
In her recent interview for the magazine's November issue, Aniston said husband Theroux is the right person for him. Although it has been 22 years since the world first met her in "F.R.I.E.N.D.S." as the wealthy and fashionable Rachel Greene, the world can't seem to get enough of her charisma. Jennifer Aniston stars in the new movie "Office Christmas Party" which will be released in December.
