‘Split’ News & Updates: Movie Transcends Creepiness Into A Whole New Level; Movie Goers In For Surprising Twist!

M.Night Shyamalan's new horror movie "Split" will scare movie goers with its sheer creepiness. Critics consider it a smart and satisfying horror film.

The movie is about a man who has 23-multiple personalities who abducts three young women and takes them into his secret lair. James McAvoy from "X-Men: Apocalypse" will play the lead role, The Hollywoord Reporter reported.

After kidnapping the girls, McAvoy can be seen dressed in women's clothes telling the girls that they will not be touched for he knows what they are here for. In the trailer, the most terrifying identity is the beast who Hedwig, one of the personalities that McAvoy's character has, insists to be true.

According to The Guardian, it is both the creepy demeanor of McCavoy's character and the multiple personality of the character that will scare the audiences. The site explained that "Split" has a lot of interesting story arcs. There is the struggle of the three young women to get away from their captor and the interesting past of one of the young women.

The one that stood out the most is interaction of McAvoy's character to his therapist Dr. Fletcher. Critics consider this as the most fascinating moment in the film, which is better to other screenwriters who use shrinks to create an elegant way to state their point.

Viewers should also brace themselves to be the bag of tricks Shyamalan has in-stored for them. The site explained that the movie has a "neutron bomb that drops in the final scene. It is more like a snap of a puzzle piece on a wide game board that viewers have no idea that they are playing."

Even though, it is early to tell if the show would be a box office hit that Jobs and Hire once reported like "Aliens", "Saw", "Jaws" and '"Paranormal Activity." Critics consider "Split" as a gratifying film that will make viewers scream "Oh My God!" as they journey into the different identities of McAvoy's character. The horror movie will hit theaters on January 20, 2017.
