With its tag line, "From this moment, everything will change," the Disney Pixar released the teaser of "Cars 3" which features the unexpected dark finish for the famous Lightning McQueen after one terrible accident. The third instalment of the Cars movie will be available in 2D, 3D and IMAX 3D on the 16th day of June 2017.
Lightning McQueen, played by Owen Wilson, geared up for his return on the race track at the Piston Cup. The "Cars 3" trailer actually depicts the dilemma of automotive industry these days: would people prefer the outdated internal combustion, or the modern yet quite frightening electric power?
Meanwhile, the dark turn of the supposed-to-be animated movie intended for the viewing of kids was indeed a surprise to everyone - which is not a positive surprise, at all. The teaser plus its tag line seemed to form a similar question to everyone: is this the last ride for Lightning McQueen?
Among the series of "Cars" which started on 2006, this third one is the darkest as it was featured in the movie's official trailer that was released on November 21. This time, Pixar Animation Studios refrains from being in the shadow of the two other "Cars" movies as some of the characters did not form part in the script of the third installment.
After the trailer was made available for public viewing, "Cars 3" has brought with it tons of pressure as it was already tagged as Disney Pixar's most horrible movie franchise; even the teaser itself is the only thing that was released. But Pixar stands firm that this time, the movie will be far different from the image it has built from "Cars" (2006) and "Cars 2" (2011).
Last May 2016, there have been rumors that Lightning McQueen's circuit sprint will revamp. However, this horrible car wreck featuring the most brutal end of the well-known Chevrolet Corvette-based character is indeed unpredicted. However, Director Brian Free established that there might be a possibility that McQueen and the whole racing generation would survive.
