Numerous crossovers of superheroes might happen in Marvel Cinematic Universe film because of the universe's connection. On the upcoming sequel to a superhero film "Ant-Man and the Wasp" there were speculations that Hawkeye and Ant-Man might have a crossover.
As it was reported by GameNGuide, Michael Douglas who played the role as Hank Pym wanted Jeremy Renner, who portrayed the role of Hawkeye, to be on set. On a recent report, Douglas shared his thoughts of having Hawkeye in the upcoming sequel or Marvel movie, "Ant-Man and The Wasp." Douglas said that he would be hopeful if he and Jeremy would be in the same film.
The production team as well as Peyton Reed, director of "Ant-Man and The Wasp", did not confirm yet if there would be a crossover between Hawkeye and Ant-Man. However, there's a big chance that it might happen as plenty superhero character crossovers happened in Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.
As it was previously reported, Tony Stark who is known as "Iron Man" would possibly be in "Spider-Man: Homecoming" as well as Hulk would possibly appear on "Thor: Ragnarok". As there was universe's connection in Marvel Cinematic Universe, perhaps in "Ant-Man and The Wasp" film might have Hawkeye as the newest character.
On an interview of Renner with The Movie Network, "Hawkeye" actor was asked about the possibility of working with "Ant-Man and The Wasp" star, Douglas in some Marvel movies. Renner said that it would be his great pleasure in working with him in the upcoming film of "Avengers".
"There are a lot of amazing cast members in that world and they are all converging, so who knows what is going to happen. I can't tell you or I might get hurt! Those decisions are above our pay grade, but we are just blessed and happy to be a part of the Marvel family," Renner said.
