Brad Pitt is reportedly in possession of a document that can secure his victory over his child custody case. Ex-wife Angelina Jolie filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences as the reason. She was allegedly fed up with the way the "Allied" actor is treating their children.
Recently, the actor has secured a copy of Angelina Jolie's mental health records as per Movie News Guide. He finds it a substantial proof of his ex-wife's incapacity to rear the children properly. The Maleficent" actress was self-destructive, alcoholic, smoker and emotionally unstable in the past. Reports say that she is still coming back once in a while to her old habits.
The police authorities investigated the incident that triggered the filing of the divorce. It was during a flight that Pitt had a fight with his eldest son, Maddox Pitt. The actress claimed that the "Troy" actor physical abused the teenager.
The County Department of Children and Family Services has declared, based on their findings that Brad Pitt did not abuse Maddox Pitt and any of their six children. This means that the By the Sea couple is on equal footing in the custody case. The decision of the court will be based on what the couple is capable of giving to promote the welfare of their children.
Gossip Cop reported that the above-mentioned psychiatric records will not be used by the actor for his cause. The said records have been a public knowledge and will not matter in the recent fight for child custody.
Whatever is true about these recent developments will matter during the court proceedings. The estranged couple is now getting ready to divide their properties.
