Lionsgate is excited with the 3rd sequel of the hit movie announcing the 3rd sequel before "Now You See Me: The Second Act" was even finished. They even signed "Now You See Me: The Second Act" director John M. Chu for the next sequel, Cinema Blend reported.

The site reported that this was not the best year for Lionsgate. Their movies like "Gods of Egypyt" and "The Divergent Series: Allegiant" did not perform much in the box office. Lionsgate CEO Jon Feltheimer said that they already begun working on "Now You See Me 3." GameNGuide reported that "Now You See Me: The Second Act" became a box office hit.

The site reported that the first film "Now You See Me Now You Don't" earned more than $351 million worldwide. This can be a considered a success considering that the production budget of the film is just $75 million. Other reports say that "Now You See Me: The Second Act" earned $331 million worldwide when it was released on June 10 2016.

The film caters around The Four Horsemen as they try to be part of The Eye, an underground magic organization. The lead actors were played by Jesse Eisenberg from "Café Society," Woody Harrelson from the "Edge of Seventeen," Dave Franco from "Nerve," and Isla Fisher from "Keeping Up With The Joneses."

In "Now You See Me: The Second Act," Isla Fisher was replaced by Lizzy Caplan from "Allied." "Thor Ragnarok" actor Mark Ruffalo is also part of the movie playing an FBI agent with a shrouded past.

Jobs & Hire reported that there had been no reports if the cast will reprise their roles in "Now You See Me 3." To date, there has been no official name for the 3rd sequel of the movie.
