FUNimation recently announced the voice cast for the English of "Dragon Ball Super" several pioneer voice actors from Toei's hit anime series are to continue previous acting roles. Akira Toriyama will be supervising "Dragon Ball Super" as the series creator, continuing the tale of Goku striving peace against Majin Buu.
The new anime will be celebrating Akira Toriyama's martial arts comedy and action filled series adaptation 30th anniversary. It will be featuring a franchise of voice actors under FUNimation's English dub production. The voice actors are Seán Schemmel as Goku, Christopher R. Sabat as Vegeta, Jason Douglas as Beerus, Ian Sinclair as Whis, and Sonny Strait as Krillin the mentioned voice actors were last heard in the anime movie "Dragon Ball Z: Resurrection F."
Reported statements of Masayuki Endo from Crunchyroll says that, Masayuki Endo the President of Toei Animation Inc. is very excited to welcome back their many friends and talented newcomers in making the Dragon Ball Super. He also stated that this is in dedication for the fans across the U.S; he has also mentioned that FUNimation has been a big part of shaping the "Dragon Ball" series particularly for English audiences.
