Following the keynote presentation during the PlayStation Experience 2016 event, a new trailer and several images of "Gran Turismo Sport" have been released. The racing game shows off the tracks, cars and gameplay in 4K, HDR and VR qualities.
"Gran Turismo Sport" launch date had been previously delayed because of some difficulties Sony and developer Polyphony Digital had encountered in developing the PlayStation 4 exclusive game. Not much have been heard from both companies since then, but now, a new trailer and tons of images came out to reveal the improvements made in the game.
DualShockers have the screenshots of "Gran Turismo Sport" here, which showcased the racing tracks in different times of the day. The tracks include Brands Hatch Circuit, Fishermans Ranch, Northern Isle Speedway, Nürburgring Nordschleife and Tokyo Expressway, among others.
"Gran Turismo Sport" gameplay images also include a wide range of racing cars that players can choose from. These include BMW M4 Coupé 2014, Dodge Charger SRT Hellcat 2015, Honda NSX 2017, Mercedes-Benz A 45 AMG 4MATIC 2013, Renault Sport Mégane Gr.4, Subaru WRX Gr.3, Audi R18 TDI (Audi Sport Team Joest) 2011 and many more.
"Gran Turismo Sport" is featured in 4K and HDR, which enhanced the details of the game, making them look and feel more realistic. The trailer also tease about the "GT Sport's" look when played through Virtual Reality.
"Gran Turismo Sport," which is said to be the replacement for the once anticipated "Gran Turismo 7," was originally scheduled to be released in November. But now, no specific date has been announced aside from a wide release window of 2017. "GT 7" has also been shelved and no confirmation yet if it is going to come out as a different game from "GT Sport."
Here's the new breathtaking trailer of "Gran Turismo Sport" that would want players to pick up a VR console.
