The return of Sherlock Holmes in 221B Baker Street is inevitable as new photo that raises speculation arise. The new photo might have showed the clues on the exciting new "Sherlock" Season 4.
The new photo showed Sherlock and John in their flooded flat with tons of clues literally floating around. In the photo, there is a bone china cup that can be seen half submerged in the water - a reminder of Moriarty.
"In the Christmas Special, Sherlock told us that Moriarty is dead but he knows what he's going to do next. The bone china cup might be a reminder that Moriarty's shadow will continue to loom large over Sherlock after his death." Radio Times reported.
In addition, there is also a floating Henry V book in the photo which might suggest that fans might be seeing Tom Hiddleston, who once played Henry V in "Hollow Crown." Hiddleston is actually a fan favorite to play Sherlock's other brother named Sherrinford.
In July, Show runner Mark Gatiss tweeted a Comic-con image "Sherlock" Season 4 actor Amanda Abbington and Tom Hiddleston calling him blud. Blud mean brother in British street slang.
The final episode of the show might be reminiscent of the "The Adventure of the Musgrave Ritual," which was one of the favorite stories of Mark Gatiss. In the photo, there is a jack knife and a Persian slipper that was mentioned in the book.
"In the Adventure of the Musgrave Ritual, Dr. Watson recalls that he would often see Holmes' unanswered correspondence transfixed by a jack-knife into the very center of his wooden mantelpiece. Watson also noted that his friend kept his tobacco in the toe end of a Persian slipper," the site explained.
With Moriarty and Magnussen gone, fans could expect a new sinister character in the form of Culverton Smith that will be played by British actor Toby Jones. According to F. Entertainment, Steven Moffat and Mark Gatiss explained that Culverton Smith will be a completely new character.
The show runners explained Culverton Smith is the darkest villain they had. They explained that the guy is purest evil compared to the enigmatic Moriarty and fascinating Magnussen.
"Sherlock is actually appalled by him. He's the most evil and horrific villain we've had. I don't think that when you see it, you will disagree," the show runners were quoted saying. Jobs & Hire reported that "Sherlock" Season 4 will be shown in January 1, 2016.
