Former Spiderman Andrew Garfield felt that "The Amazing Spiderman" movies were compromised. Actor still believes that the superhero series made him a better actor.

It can be remembered that Andrew Garfield played Spiderman in "The Amazing Spiderman" in 2012 up to 2014. However, when Sony teamed up with Marvel they decided to re-boot the entire series.

NME reported that he has been a fan of Spiderman since he was 3 years old. Garfield's first superhero costume was even the web-slinging superhero.

According to Garfield, he signed up to serve the story and the incredible character. He explained that it breaks his heart that his favorite character gets compromised.

The Hollywood Reporter reported that the actor felt like" there were a lot of missed opportunities in the first two movies. The site explained that Garfield is disappointed in "Amazing Spiderman 2."

The "Silence" actor felt that the production team edited the good parts of the movie. He stressed that everything was related before the final cut of the film was released.

However, he still believes that "The Amazing Spiderman" is still a great movie. He said that there were still a lot of great things about it.

Andrew Garfield said that he got to work with an incredible cast and director. Garfield explained that he learned what feels good and what does not.

"There's something about being that young in that film which I think is really dangerous. I think that time I was still young and struggling with the value system of corporate America," he concluded.
