Apple has just released its iOS 10.2 beta 7 to developers, crushing some hopes that an iOS 10 jailbreak tool will come out soon. Some might have started to pay attention to alternatives.
Apple seeded to developers its iOS 10.2 beta 7 for iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch, which is also available to anyone participating in the beta program, BGR reported. The update, which is available over the air (OTA) and as downloadable file from Apple's site, brings more bug fixes and improvements.
On the downside, many believes that the rate of Apple's releases of updates puts another setback to the hackers developing a jailbreak tool for iOS 10. The latest iOS jailbreak tool that is existing now is for the iOS 9.3. This may not be useful anymore if the tech giant stops supporting that software version.
There were several groups that previously claimed of successfully jailbreaking iOS 10, but none has released anything to the public, much to the disappointment of those who have been waiting for it so they enjoy features beyond what the official firmware offers.
Apple is proud to say that its iOS 10.2 its "biggest release ever," as reported by MacRumors. This latest Apple operating system is said to have a much improved security system, which is what's giving the hackers a really hard time.
While the release of an iOS 10 jailbreak tool remains bleak, there are alternatives that iPhone, iPad and iPod Touch users can turn to, such as TweakBox and Mojo. These two software allows users to install apps and tools that are not available in the Apple Store and are normally found via Cydia.
Jailbreak tool enables users to customize their iPhones, iPads or iPods. But with the release still uncertain, Mojo and TweakBox are alternatives that would be worth checking. Who knows these are just what the jailbreak fans might have been looking for.
