The official website of "Long Riders!" announced that the last 2 episodes will be delayed until February 4, 2017. The "Long Riders!" episode 10 will be the last episode released this year based on further announcements.
According to Anime New Network, the last 2 episodes with the title "Night Ride Chapter" for episode 11, and "Shimanami Highway Chapter" for episode 12 will be screened at an AT-X marathon screening. The AT-X marathon will screen all previously aired episodes of "Long Riders!" including the last 2 episodes on February 5, 2017.
The story starts with Ami Kurata, a freshman university student. Ami Kurata has no athletic ability however, she suddenly falls in love with a bicycle she saw sitting in front of a train station. Ami Kurata has been inspired by her newfound love, and started saving money to buy a new bicycle and learn how to become a good cyclist.
Last October and November 2016 the "Long Riders!" episodes 3 and 5 was also delayed by one week. In place for the episode 5 of "Long Riders!" a compilation episode was aired titled "Watashi no Cycle Album." The anime TV series premiered on the 8th of October 2016. Daisuki streamed the series while it airs in Japan. The "Long Riders!" anime was licensed by Sentai Filmworks.
"Long Riders!" is an anime based on Taishi Miyake's manga of the same name. Tatsuya Yoshihara is the project head at Studio Actas along with Jiemon Futsuzawa who is in charge of character design, and Natsuko Takahashi who is in charge of the series arrangements.
According to Anime Herald the last 2 episodes will be having a special screening in fan event on Shimanami Highway. It is not yet confirmed if Tokyo MX, Sun TV, KBS Kyoto, and BS11 will be airing the last 2 episodes. The "Long Riders!" anime TV series was one of the few inspiring story plots of anime series ever aired in Japan, showing how a young girl strives to achieve her goals as a cyclist.
