The CW's "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" is now being compared to various TV shows and stories. Fans are anticipating for something worth talking about in the first season finale.
According to Decider, "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" will be ending its first season with a significant switch in the love triangle. Although the TV show was moved to a Friday night time slot, it still attracts audiences. The different plot of the story compared to other TV shows is just one of the leading reasons why fans are hooked with it.
The last episode of the "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" is perhaps the most troubling part. The previous episodes mainly focused on the love triangle between Rebecca (Rachel Bloom), Josh (Vincent Rodriguez III), and Greg (Santino Fontana). Among the two guys, Greg is the good boy, single type while Josh is the naughty, bad boy. Although most "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" fans vote for Greg as her boyfriend, it turned out that Rebecca and Josh were back together.
Meanwhile, rumors and speculations are emerging that Santino Fontana would be leaving. Fontana's Greg has actually moved out to attend school. According to the news, this also means that his character will be dissolved because Fontana is leaving the show after the first season. Fontana's contract was just for the first episode, the reports revealed.
"Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" fans may expect that there would be no more love triangle between the three characters. However, it may still have because Josh is rumored to have a new girl. In the next episode, Rebecca and Valencia (Gabrielle Ruiz) will team up to find out who Josh has been dating. The new girl will be portrayed by Brittany Snow.
The Week indicated that the "Crazy Ex-Girlfriend" will bring more tension and thrill to the audiences. Rebecca and Paula's friendship strengthens as they rely on each other. Sooner or later, both guys will dump her. After Paula (Donna Lynne Champlin) left for law school, Rebecca will be left out without letting her know about her heartbreaks.
On the other hand, Paula founds out that she's pregnant but she won't let Rebecca know. The two girls will soon be caught up in a dilemma of keeping secrets from each other.
