"Star Wars: Rogue One" on its just concluded film junket received positive reactions from the member of the press. After a half-hour screening for attendees, the people became excited to watch the film about a galaxy far away that never fail to mesmerize viewers decades ago.
The reactions to the spinoff were a delight to Director Gareth Edwards. He has sighed relief because very few knew that the film had several reshoots last summer.
One of the cast members, Riz Ahmed playing Bodhi Rook shared that they have done countless reshoots as per Screen Rant. He was impressed on how Edwards and Lucas Films president, Kathleen Kennedy took meticulous checking of the scenes. If they think particular scenes a reshoot, they will order if reenacted.
Kennedy said, "If A ton of reshoots was required to improve "Rogue One", then that's the way to go." After all, the company has the resources, so they simply have the utilize them.
Ahmed said that because the company loves its viewers and wants to give them the best quality film. He hopes that the audience will see that when people watch the movie. This spinoff is the first story outside the Skywalker family and it is expected to be the frontrunner of succeeding spinoffs.
Gareth Edwards shared his thoughts on making the movie. He compared his experience directing the movie being an actor in the movie. It's like pretending to steal the Death Star plans but the actual one is to make a remarkable Star Wars film.
"Star Wars: Rogue One" got the nod of George Lucas, the producer, and the number one critic. Edwards feel he is successful with the film. The movie will hit the theaters on Dec. 16, 2016. Stay tuned for more "Star Wars" and celebrity news.
