It seems that trade rumors are getting even more intense among NBA players and teams. Today's newest NBA trade rumor revolves around Andrew Bogut of Dallas Mavericks and two of the biggest NBA teams, Portland Trailblazers and Boston Celtics.
In a report by Inquisitr, Blazers is showing huge interest toward Bogut. Should Mavericks decides to trade in the Australian center, Blazers is already on the trade line. Among the possible picks from the team in exchange for Bogut are Noah Vonleh, Ed Davis and Meyers Leonard, which are all great assets for Mavericks considering their respective skills. Blazers is also filled with lots of young forward players who can be a great trade for Mavericks.
Bogut, being a great center and power forward player, is definitely going to provide Blazers a great defense. However, there is another NBA team who would like to bid for the Australian center. Celtics is also showing a huge interest toward Andrew Bogut and might even trade their very own shooting guard James Young. If the persistence of both Celtics and Blazers are to be compared, Blazers would likely be on the far side as Celtics is showing even more aggressiveness towards acquiring Bogut for a deep playoff run.
These trades are definitely going to have huge effect in Mavericks and Celtics or Blazers, whichever gets the deal. For Mavericks, however, they really should think very wisely regarding the trade. The team must make sure that whatever decision they would be making, it's going to leverage their status in the NBA as, among the rest of the teams, they have the worst NBA record.
Moreover, these times have been a real struggle for Mavericks considering Nowitzki. There have been rumors that this might be the last year that Nowitzki will be in the league. The German center is currently suffering from a sore Achilles and there is yet no official confirmation regarding his return as per the statement of Mark Cuban.
