So, "How To Get Away With Murder" is really great at dropping bombs, isn't it? Wes was a centerpiece in the series but he had to die and killing an important character to keep up the fans is indeed a tough job. However, executive producer Peter Nowalk just recently revealed that Wes isn't done with the series yet.
Wes Gibbins Isn't At All Gone in Season 3
Many "HTGAWM" fans still cannot move on from the biggest bombshell of the series so far - Wes Gibbins' death. Until now, it's still a mystery as to who killed the character and what would be the reason for doing so.
In a report by Variety, "HTGAWM" executive producer Peter Nowalk revealed that all the answers to these questions will be revealed as soon as the second half of season 3 begins next year. During the early episodes of the third season, the greatest mystery was the guy under the sheet. Now, that it was revealed, Nowalk said that the real mystery is Wes' killer and anyone could be the suspect - indeed.
When asked if viewers will still see Wes in the second half, Nowalk replied with an exciting yay. The exec producer said that one of the exciting moment for fans in the second half is Wes' return. He said that for the purpose of revealing the preceding events, "HTGAWM" is going to reveal what happened next after Wes walked out from the police station. This revelation really confirms that Wes is not at all gone in season 3.
Nowalk also added that some other characters who have already died in the early part of the series will still be seen in the future episodes. One of the characters that Nowalk pointed out was Sam Keating who made a few appearances in the second season through a flashback and Rebecca Sutter. On top of that, Nowalk also revealed the possibility of having all the characters back in a new season, or in a prequel.
For now, fans can only make their best guesses as to Wes' killer. However, everyone can expect that as the second half of season 3 begins, more and more bombshells will be dropped. So far, one of the closest suspects that everyone points out is Connor Walsh who has shown some valid signs for being the mystery killer. Here is a report by Jobs & Hire.
Unlike the first two seasons which had 15 episodes, season 3 will only have 3 episode which means that only 4 episodes are left for the second half of season 3. The rest of the season will be released beginning January 19, 2017.
