The fun and adventure is definitely not yet over as another exciting journey awaits Gru, and his minions in the upcoming "Despicable Me 3." The teaser was released recently and it reveals more details including another super villain named Balthazar Bratt.
Bratt, voiced by Trey Parker, is a childhood actor who became obsessed with his 80's character. He steals a diamond and ready to escape using a flying cruise ship when Gru along with the cute minions try to stop him. Though his character is amusing, the said villain is remarkably strong and smart as well.
"Despicable Me 3" comes out roughly four years after its successful sequel in 2013 under Illumination Entertainment and Universal Pictures. Fans could no longer wait to witness another epic comedy-action animated film with the unconventional villain hero. Gru, voiced by Steve Carell, will also be joined by his wife Lucy Wilde (Kristen Wigg) who appeared in the "Despicable Me 2" as a secret agent. The two fell in love and got married at the end of the second film.
Together, the couple will now face a tough opponent who will do anything for his own desires and evil plans. Movienewsguide also revealed a scene to be watched out for, that is the reunion of Gru to his long lost twin brother Dru which will surely add up to the comic side of the film. Also not to mention the involvement of the three not-so-little angels of the family-- Edith, Margo and Agnes.
"Despicable Me 3" will be directed by Pierre Coffin and Kylie Balda with Eric Guillon as a co-director. The script is crafted by brilliant writers Cinco Paul and Ken Daurio. It will hit the theaters on June 30, 2017.
