Kevin Durant recently made headlines with the two new colorways of this signature shoe. And this weekend, two more colorways of the Nike KD VI is set to make waves on the sneaker market.
Like the 'Aunt Pearl' and 'Liger' editions, the two new editions - 'Neutral' and 'Floral' - are expected to become hot items on the market when both colorways arrive at retailers.
First up is the Nike KD VI 'Neutral' that it set to hit shelves on March 15, Saturday, in select Nike accounts worldwide.
The 'Neutral' edition, which is officially listed as the Anthracite/Total Orange-Team Orange-Mica Green colorway, reflects Durant's demeanor on the basketball hardcourt, as revealed by Nike.
"Like KD's game itself the KD VI 'Neutral' reflects an even-keel approach interwoven with a quick burst of flash. The bright Total Orange Swoosh, midsole and KD logo provide an eye-catching contrast to the cool dark tones of the Anthracite upper. Think of the slate color of the blacksmith's iron, slowly transforming through heat. This is a shoe forged by fire-streamlined, supportive, and red-hot," Nike noted.
This edition, which features a combination of anthracite grey and mica green on the upper part with total orange Nike Swoosh and KD logo, will retail at $130 per pair starting 8 a.m. ET.
Also coming out on Saturday is the off-court version of Durant's sixth signature shoe with Nike - the KD VI EXT, which will be released in what is dubbed as the 'Floral' edition.
This edition, which is listed as the Black/Multi Color colorway of this lifestyle sneaker, sports a full floral print on the upper part with black accents, and finished off with a white midsole and icy blue translucent outsole.
With the release of this off-court model, Nike wrote that the Oklahoma City Thunder superstar became the latest player to have a signature shoe with Sportswear extensions.
"When it comes to hoops and kicks, KD is straight up mean," Nike noted. "Durant's latest lifestyle model adds him to the short list of signature athletes with Sportswear extensions of their performance models."
This impressive-looking lifestyle sneaker will retail at $130 per pair. It will reportedly be available on a limited basis in select Nike accounts worldwide.
