The July 22nd episode of "The Real Housewives of New York" is by far the most interesting season ender among all of the housewives. Although it's not as bloody and physical as other "Housewives" season finale episodes, someone's leg was actually detached and thrown into a table at a 5-star restaurant.
It can be noted that a few months back, Bravo has already teased fans about what's to come in the season ender of "The Real Housewives of New York," but we were all as surprised as the rest of the housewives when housewife amputee Aviva Drescher made a bold statement in public.
Drescher has spoken to the media recently and she admitted that for the most part of this season, she felt "attacked" by her fellow housewives, and this was best highlighted by the nothing short of dramatic and intense event that happened in last night's show.
In the episode, Aviva took off her prosthetic leg and quickly threw it across a table at a 5-star restaurant. Of course, she didn't do it to catch the attention of the patrons that time. She did the bold gesture after Heather made some remarks about her.
While the housewives were trying to enjoy Sonja's "Team Sonja" party, Heather apparently took the opportunity to voice out her thoughts about Aviva, calling her "toxic" amid her asthma issue.
Things started to get worse when Heather, Kristen and Carole began to get into Aviva's face, calling the amputee a "horrible person."
Heather even scolded Aviva, saying, "You say that you have never lied to any of us at the table and you find us really hurtful." Then, she added, "I find that laughable."
In the middle of all the tension, Aviva took the situation and turned it into a leggy matter. She lashed out, saying, "Let me tell you something, Heather..." After a dramatic pause, she said, "The only thing that is artificial or fake about me..." To finish her sentence she threw her prosthetic leg across a table, to the surprise of all the housewives, especially Sonja, who attempted to calm Aviva down the entire time.
Now, we just can't wait for the three-part reunion of "The Real Housewives of New York" on Tuesday, July 29, for us to find out what happens next from there. Could the ladies be making up in the reunion? Or can everyone expect a bloodier battle than the "Real Housewives of Atlanta" reunion fight between Porsha Williams and Kenya Moore?
