Every "Game of Thrones" fan have been asking the same question, but they seem to be getting nowhere; Is Jon Snow really dead?
The beloved character played by Kit Harrington could be the biggest piece of the puzzle in "Winds of Winter." Although the book has not been published yet and "Game of Thrones" season 6 is being aired ahead of the hard copy, GOT trailers could hold clues to major plot points in the unpublished book.
According to IDigitalTimes, everybody assumed Jon Snow will return from the dead and even cited that fans are theorizing that since he's no longer bound to the Night's Watch's oath, he can ride South to steal back Winterfell from the dreadful Boltons. That fan theory may not be far from the truth because the most recent "Game of Thrones" season 6 trailer have backed up that story.
Vanity Fair even has photographic evidence that Jon Snow is alive and seems to be riding South. Is this enough evidence to prove Jon Snow's return?
Although "Game of Thrones" season 6 may vary from the actual writing of "The Winds of Winter," author George R. R. Martin may not stray farther from the truth. Jon Snow "is" a major plot character and if he is to burn the Boltons to the ground and take back Winterfell, he might just be in the book. However, since the book is still unpublished, fans still have questions regarding the authenticity of "Game of Thrones" season 6 in relation to "Winds of Winter."
Some of your questions may be answered on April 24 during the season 6 premiere of "Game of Thrones." Check out the red trailer below and tell us if you're seeing some more "Winds of Winter" clues!
