"Attack On Titan" Season 2 is definitely coming soon, preferably with haste. Especially since the Manga and the Anime are almost on the same page, this makes it possible to create the second season with enough content to avoid fan disappointment.
If we look back, the first season of "Attack On Titan" featured four arcs from the Manga. The anime series was able to successfully pace the storytelling within the set amount of episodes allotted for the season. The same is expected with "Attack On Titan" Season 2. The delay of the latter is partly because they are giving the manga time to get ahead enough for them to start airing the anime again.
While waiting for the anime to officially return with the second season, there are a few interesting plotline theories that are floating around. According to University Herald, there are a lot in store for Eren and Mikasa in "Attack On Titan" Season 2. The pair will be pursued by a powerful titan that has an eye for Mikasa. This puts the lives of the two Survey Corps soldiers in grave danger. Although Mikasa is an ace soldier, apparently she will be eaten by the titan pursuing her.
However, it is unclear if that will be the end of Mikasa. It is possible that this will be her final appearance on the show, or that she will also be given the ability to transform into a Titan. For those wondering as to why Eren would not be able to save Mikasa from being snacked on by a titan, it is because Eren will leave his two friends.
One source claims that Eren will decide to part ways with his childhood friends Mikasa and Armin. This huge change in relationship will play a significant role in the show's second season. Moreover, it triggers the 'death' of Mikasa that leads her to become a titan as well.
While Eren is dealing with his apparent attitude problems, he is expected to finally unlock his basement with the key his father left him. As per Geek, the manga is far ahead enough for us to be able to finally feast our eyes on what the basement holds.
Speaking of the manga, if "Attack On Titan" season two does stick to canon, then the Beast Titan will be introduced in this season. Moreover, there are rumors that suggest Eren will transform into a beast titan as well, making him stronger and more terrifying.
So many interesting plots to encounter in the second season of "Attack On Titan" and all that fans can do is wait for the anime's premiere date. "Attack On Titan" Season 2 is slated for release in the Spring of 2017. Stay tuned to Jobs & Hire for more updates on AToT.
