On a recent report, it was rumored that "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7 was being cancelled due to poor ratings. As the speculations leaked on the internet, many fans were in dismay. Recently, it was rumored that two of the main character of the CBS TV series would say good-bye to its fans. Masi Oka and Alex O'Loughlin were speculated to leave the show.
"Hawaii Five-O" Season 7 is currently experiencing hiatus as it was reported that the said TV series was gone for two weeks. As the show is currently on hold, speculations were circulating online that two of the main characters Doctor Max Bergman who played by Masi Oka and Lieutenant Commander Steve McGarret, portrayed by Alex O'Loughlin would be having their exit on the show.
As it was shown in its previous episode, Alex O'Loughlin's character as Steve McGarret dropped a hint of his departure in "Hawaii Five-O" However, it was not yet confirmed by the producers if the 40-year-old actor would really quit on "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7.
Another report asserts that Masi Oka would be leaving "Hawaii Five-O" Season 7. As the news released by Movie News Guide, it's confirmed that the 41-year-old actor would be leaving the police procedural television series. On his exclusive interview with Entertainment Weekly, he revealed his reasons on why he would like to quit the show.
"And we've been so blessed to work for seven years on a great show, but a lot of my business has been in Los Angeles and Japan and it's been increasingly difficult to really commute to Hawaii. I'm probably the only one who really commutes to Hawaii, maybe 18 times a year round trip." Masi said.
On the other hand, he also stated that his character as Doctor Max in "Hawaii Five-O" went through a major journey. He thought that his character would be ended soon. The series would be back on small screen with new episodes on December 9.
