Fans should brace themselves for Netflix's "The Crown" Season 2. There will be a lot of problems that will arise in the new season of the acclaimed series.
The show will start with the reign of Prime Minister Anthony Eden, played by Jeremy Northam. The series will showcase the short reign of the Prime Minister, the embarrassment England experienced with him during the Suez Crisis.
Parent Herald reported that the show will go through three prime ministers. Aside from Eden, Harold Macmillan and Alec Douglas-Home will have an appearance on the series.
"The Crown" Season 2 actor Claire Foy said that they are already shooting the second season of the series. Foy, who plays Queen Elizabeth, was rumored to be invited by the Queen but this claims were still not confirmed.
GamesNGuide reported that the Queen has remained silent about the Netflix series. Making viewers wonder how close the events of the series are to her life.
The site also explained of a possible crossover scene with CW's "Reign". "Reign" is a historical fantasy series that follows the life of Mary Queen of Scotts.
"It appears that all eyes are now on Claire Foy as she takes on the heavy role of bringing to life the character of Queen Elizabeth in The Crown Season 2. Fans are already excited of the new things that will unfold in the life of her royal highness, Queen Elizabeth," the site stressed.
"The Crown" is about the life of Queen Elizabeth, the oldest living Queen of England. It will tackle the life she had during the early days of her monarchy.
It will tackle the married life of the Queen with Prince Philip, played by Matt Smith. Jobs & Hire reported that the Queen actually wanted a simple life with her navy husband.
However, that changed on the death of her father King George VI. The crown was passed to her and she became the Queen of England. To date, there has been no official announcement on the release date of "The Crown" Season 2 but it might be released around November 2017.
