After "Daredevil" Season 1 and 2 achieved the high marks, Hell’s Kitchen just can’t get enough of the man in the mask. As "Daredevil" Season 3 is confirmed, fans are hyped up for what surprises are in store.
Everyone knows that the series actually follows the Marvel comics, the show’s executive producers and director need to shush since they need to fill in more twists and turns to add spice to the series. Yet in this upcoming season, fans still speculated that “Shadowland” adaptation might be a reality. “Shadowland” is a comic series wherein Daredevil, possessed by The Beast, joins the dark side with The Hand. This could actually result in Luke Cage, The Punisher, Iron Fist, and Spiderman to join forces in order to stop his menace.
Cinema Blend predicts The Hand’s plot can still also happen since, in the “Shadowland” adaptation, The Hand plays a major role. Yet "Daredevil" fans still have no clue about what the massive pit is for. As for Wilson Frisk, he is still in prison. But recent reports showed that he already managed to be the Kingpin there.
Meanwhile, some weren’t that satisfied with the speculation about “Shadowland” because they were expecting a different line of events like Bullseye and Death of Karen Page. Well, Charlie Cox stated on Slash Film that he wants Bullseye in the upcoming "Daredevil" season, but his co-stars don’t. Since Elodie Yung and Deborah Ann Woll (who played Karen Page) knew that Bullseye is the character that would kill Elektra and Karen Page.
Lastly, Movie News Guide speculated that two more arcs can be adapted in the series. First is “Out,” wherein Daredevil’s civilian identity was discovered by Wilson Frisk's friend. Next is “Daredevil #25” in which Matt’s twin brother Mike Murdock will be used as a pawn by Daredevil to trick Karen Page and Karen.
With “Jessica Jones”, “The Punisher” and “Iron Fist” on Netflix’s hands, it seemed “The Defenders” will be expected to be released sometime in 2018 and “Daredevil” Season 3 series sometime in 2017.
