In a report by Yibada, it detailed in the upcoming "Shokugeki No Soma' Season 3 Yukihira Soma will hone his specialty dish skills with every shokugeki invitation thrown on him. So, it means that the fans will see more cooking showdowns and mouthwatering dishes this time.
While The Bit Bag explains how Yukihira Soma can get a lot of shokugekis, "The arc ended with Fumio saying that the results are tight, being that the first years are on equal grounds with the second years". Meaning, In "Shokugeki No Soma' Season 3 all junior and sophomore Totsuki students are free to battle with one another.
Moreover, In Erina's transfer to Polar Star Dormitory, it is caused by Azami's new headmaster status and her father's plans of centralizing the research society.
